Description

This Simple Chicken Soup is a warm, nourishing, and flavorful bowl of comfort. Made with tender chicken, hearty vegetables. It’s perfect for when you're feeling under the weather or simply craving something wholesome. Easy to make with everyday ingredients, this soup is a timeless favorite.

Ingredients
  • 500 gram boneless chicken thighs or breasts
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 4-5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon white pepper
  • 1 teaspoon chicken powder (optional)
  • 2 tablespoon white vinegar
  • 2 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoon chili sauce
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 large egg
  • 2.25 liters water
  • 4 tablespoon corn flour
Instructions
  1. Prepare the Base & Chicken:

    Heat oil in a large soup pot over medium heat. Add chicken . Fry until it change the color.

    Now add 2 liter water, Bay leave, garlic clove and 1 tbsp of salt. Cover with a lid and boil the chicken until soft and tender.

    After boil take out chicken from stock and shred the chicken.  Now add shredded chicken back to stock. Add black pepper & white pepper, chicken powder, white vinegar, soy sauce, chili sauce and egg. Stir quickly. 

  2. Corn Flour Mixture:

    In a separate bowl. Add corn flour in a 1 cup of water. Mix it well. Add corn flour mixture in a chicken base. Cook it 2-3 minutes.

  3. Rest Before Serving:

    Let the soup rest for 5 minutes before serving to allow flavors to meld.

  4. Serve:

    Ladle into bowl and serve with boiled egg!
