Description

Kulfa Ice Cream is a rich, creamy, and aromatic frozen dessert popular in South Asian cuisine, especially in Pakistan and India. A blend of kulfi and falooda elements, it combines condensed milk, cream, nuts, rose essence, and vermicelli for a unique, luxurious treat. Perfect for hot summer days or festive occasions.

Ingredients
  • 3 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup Sugar
  • 2 tablespoon Corn flour
  • 5-6 green cardamom
  • 1/2 cup milk cream
  • 1 cup fresh cream
  • 1 tablespoon rose water
  • 1/3 cup mixed nuts
Instructions
  1. Milk & Corn Flour:

    In a bowl add 1 cup of milk and 2 tablespoon of corn flour. Mix it well.

  2. Boil & Reduce the Milk:

    Pour 2 cups of milk into a heavy-bottomed pan. Bring it to a boil, add green cardamom and sugar. then reduce the heat to medium and let it simmer. Stir occasionally to prevent burning. Remove green cardamom after some boil. Add corn flour mixture and bring it on medium heat until milk is reduced to one cup. After it corn flour slurry will be ready.

  3. Grind the Slurry:

    Now add corn flour slurry into a mixture. Add milk cream & fresh cream, rose water and mixed nuts. Grind well.

  4. Freeze:

    Pour the mixture into molds or an airtight container. Cover and place in the freezer for at least 6 hours or overnight.

  5. Serve:

    Once fully frozen, remove from molds or scoop into bowls. Garnish with additional crushed nuts if desired. Enjoy your traditional Kulfa Ice Cream!
