Ingredients
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 cup sugar powder
  • 1 large egg
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 2 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 3 tablespoon red food color
  • 1 cup butter
Instructions
  1. Mix Wet Ingredients:

    In a medium bowl, add 1/4 cup of oil, 2/3 cup of milk, 1 tbsp of vanilla essence, 1 large egg and 3 tbsp of red food color. Mix until combined.

  2. Mix Dry Ingredients:

    In a strain, add 1 cup of all-purpose flour, 1 tbsp of cocoa powder, 1 pinch of salt, 1 tsp of baking powder, 1/2 tsp of baking soda, 2/3 cup of sugar powder. Mix and beat it.

  3. Make the Batter:

    Gradually add the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients. Mix just until no lumps remain; do not overmix.

  4. Fill the Liners:

    Spoon the batter evenly into the prepared cupcake liners, filling each about ⅔ full.

  5. Preheat the Oven:

    Preheat the oven for 10 minutes at 180°C.

  6. Bake the Cupcakes:

    Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes at 180°C, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

  7. Prepare the Frosting:

    In a large bowl, add 1 cup of butter and beat until smooth. Gradually add 1/2 cup of sugar, then 1 tbsp of vanilla essence. Beat until light and fluffy.
