Crispy Potato Nuggets are a quick, easy, and tasty snack made with mashed potatoes, breadcrumbs, and spices. They are deep-fried or air-fried until golden and crunchy on the outside, while remaining soft and flavorful on the inside. Perfect for tea-time snacks, party appetizers, or as a side dish for kids and adults alike.
In a large bowl, mash the boiled potatoes until smooth.
Add ginger paste, salt, white pepper, black pepper, and chicken powder. Mix well.
Add 3 tbsp bread crumbs to help bind the mixture.
Take a small portion of the mixture and shape into oval or rectangular nuggets. Place them on a tray and let rest for 10 minutes.
Beat the egg with 1 tablespoon milk and a pinch of salt in a small bowl.
Dip each nugget into the egg-milk mixture, then roll in breadcrumbs until evenly coated. For extra crispiness, repeat the coating step twice.
Heat oil in a deep pan to 180°C. Fry nuggets in small batches until golden brown and crispy (about 3–4 minutes).
Remove and drain on paper towels.
Serve hot with ketchup, chili garlic sauce, or mayonnaise.
