Ingredients
    For the Chicken Marinade
  • 250 g Chicken
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic paste
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 Tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 Tablespoon Vinegar
  • 2 Tablespoon Oil (for grilling)
  • For the Shashlik Skewers
  • 1 medium onion (peeled and cut into chunks)
  • 1 large bell pepper (cut into chunks)
  • 1 large tomato (cut into wedges)
Instructions
  1. Marinate the Chicken

    In a large bowl, add garlic paste, salt, black pepper, vinegar sauce and soy sauce.

    Add the chicken cubes to the marinade and mix well to ensure all pieces are coated.

    Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (or up to 2 hours for a deeper flavor).

  2. Prepare the Vegetables

    While the chicken is marinating, prepare the vegetables by cutting them into chunks. You can use a mix of bell peppers, onions, tomatoes these add color and flavor to the skewers.

  3. Assemble the Skewers

    Preheat your   grill pan to medium-high heat (around 200°C / 392°F).

    Thread the marinated chicken pieces and the prepared vegetables onto skewers, alternating between chicken and vegetables for a colorful effect.

  4. Grill the Shashlik Sticks

    Place the skewers on the grill pan and cook for 15-20 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and has a nice char. The internal temperature of the chicken should reach 75°C (165°F).

    A grill pan, ensure the heat is consistent and not too high, so the vegetables cook evenly.

  5. Rest and Serve

    Once cooked, remove the skewers from the grill and let them rest for 5-10 minutes before serving.

    Serve with rice, naan, or a simple green salad for a complete meal.
