Description
This Chicken Fajita Pizza combines the zesty flavors of classic fajitas with the cheesy, crispy goodness of pizza. Marinated chicken strips, sautéed bell peppers, onions, and melted cheese on a crispy crust make it a family favorite with a flavorful twist.
For the Chicken Fajita Topping
1cup water
1teaspoon yeast
2teaspoon salt
1teaspoon sugar
2 &1/4 all-purpose flour
6tablespoon oil
250grams boneless chicken
1tablespoon lemon juice
1teaspoon ginger powder
1&1/2teaspoon garlic powder
1&1/2teaspoon black pepper
1teaspoon oregano
1/2teaspoon hot spices powder
2teaspoon coriander powder
capsicum and onion as required
jalapeno as required
mozzarella cheese as required
olives as required
Instructions
Dough Preparation:In a small bowl, combine1 cup warm water, 1/2 tsp salt,1 tsp sugar, and 1 tsp yeast. Stir gently and let sit for 5–10 minutes until it becomes frothy. This means the yeast is active.
Mix the Dough:In a large mixing bowl, combine all-purpose flour.
Add the activated yeast mixture and 1tbsp oil.
Mix with a spoon or your hand until a shaggy dough forms.
Prepare the Chicken:In a bowl, Add the chicken strips combine the 1tbsp lemon juice, 1 tsp salt,1 tsp ginger powder, 1 tsp garlic powder,1 tsp black pepper,1 tsp red chili powder, 1 tsp oregano and 2tbsp oil. Toss well to coat. Let it marinate for 30 minutes if possible.
Cook the Chicken and Veggies:Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add 2 tbsp oil. Cook the marinated chicken for about 4-5 minutes or until fully cooked.
Veggie Mixture:In a bowl, combine 1 tbsp oil, 1/2 tsp hot spices powder, 1/2 tsp coriander powder, 1/2 tsp black pepper powder, 1/2 tsp garlic powder, 1/2 tsp salt and 1/2 tsp red chili powder.
Mix it well with spoon.
Add capsicum, onion and fried chicken. Mix it well.
Add jalapeno
Assemble the Pizza:Roll out the pizza dough on a baking tray or pizza stone.
Distribute the cooked chicken and veggie mixture over the dough.
Sprinkle a layer of mozzarella cheese.
Add olives as required
Bake the Pizza:Preheat the oven to 10 minutes at 220°C.
Place the pizza in the oven and bake for 15 minutes at 220°C or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbling and slightly browned.
Rest and Serve:Let the pizza rest for 5-10 minutes after baking.
Slice and serve hot!
