Wavy Fries Recipe

These homemade wavy fries (also called crinkle-cut fries) are crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, made using simple ingredients and a crinkle cutter. Perfect as a snack, appetizer, or a side dish, they are deliciously golden and easy to season to your taste.

  1. Cut the Potatoes
    1. Wash and peel the potatoes 

    2. Use a crinkle cutter to slice potatoes into 1/4-inch-thick strips.

    3. Cut into traditional wavy (crinkle-cut) shapes

  2. Soak the Potatoes
    1. Place cut potatoes into a large bowl of cold water.

    2. Soak for at least 30 minutes to remove excess starch.

  3. Dry the Potatoes

    Drain the water and pat the fries completely dry with a towel.

  4. Fries Preparation
    1. Take a Bowl and Add Refined Flour, Salt, Black Pepper and Chaat Masala and Mix it well.
    2. Add Potatoes in Flour Mixture in Bowl. Toss the Potatoes Wavy to Mix and Coat Evenly.  
  5. Oil for Frying

    Fry the Potatoes in Hot Oil for 5 minutes or just until Browned.

  6. Serve

    Serve with your favorite dips like ketchup, garlic mayo, or cheese sauce.
